Triad

Summary:

Egon is in love with Janine and Ray. Lucky for him, Melnitz and Stantz are finally falling for each other, too.

Poly bisexual nerds in love. 100% smut.

This is the exact same story as Trinity with one crucial difference to the second chapter.

Notes:

I wrote two versions of this date night smut story. In the other version, Ray has a penis. This one is the trans Stantz one. Ray has a vulva. And an IUD. Janine is on the pill and they have a closed polycule with clear STI test results. I often make Ray and Egon wear condoms but not in this series about their well established, closed triad relationship. Just in case you're curious about contraception. Please enjoy this neuroqueer autigender smut.

Set in 1986, several weeks after my fic Red, the one about Janine and Ray's first date.

Chapter 1: Ray Was Here

Chapter Text

Ray Stantz has left Egon Spengler a love note.

That's what it feels like to Egon anyway, when he finds a mark on Janine, left by Raymond's mouth. Egon knows the exact shape of that bruise, has one on his own inner thigh that matches. A fossil imprint of Ray's bite. His is slightly faded and this one is fresh. A purple petal, sucked into the soft flesh of Janine's bottom, just where her ass meets her leg. He wonders if she knows it's there, hidden from view, unless she's exposed like this. The beautiful auburn haired woman is on her hands and knees in front of him on her bed. Her vulva, slick and swollen, waiting for him to slide inside.

Janine looks at him over her shoulder, wondering why he has paused back there, finds him kneeling between her legs, staring at her backside with glassy, lovedrunk eyes. "Egon?"

He doesn't answer her, but his long fingers stroke over a spot beside her openings, just where Ray had been playfully nibbling and sucking in the shower this morning. She blushes, suddenly remembering how greedy he'd been and how she'd laughed about drowning him, as Ray knelt beneath her on the shower floor. Janine whimpers a little, thinking of it and this moment, too.

And then Egon is kissing her there. He's making his low, hungry, wanting sound, that may be Janine's favorite sound in all the world. Something between a groan and a growl. His teeth and tongue lapping at the underside of her cheek, so close to where she wants them, but teasingly far away. Then, his fingers are sliding into her cunt, two of them, and he's fingering her slowly while licking and kissing her bottom and thigh. Then, he's changing his angle and switching hands, so he can kiss the other side, mirroring the worship of that first side, symetrically adoring this cheek, too. Now Egon is sucking hard on the meat of her there, biting a mouthful of her gently, all while rhythmically opening and filling her with his fingers. Janine gasps with the sharp pleasure of it and rocks back into his face. Egon leaves his own love note on her flesh for Ray to find.

Egon knows that Ray and Janine have been making love for a month now, but seeing evidence of it with his own eyes, his arousal spikes to an intensity that is almost too much for his body. If he sheaths himself in Janine just now, he knows he will come far too quickly. He also finds himself unable to form words, amygdala quite hijacked by the sight of the hickey, his wonderfully orally fixated boyfriend left behind on Janine's soft white flesh. Images of what they must have been doing to each other when the marks were left, flash through Egon's imagination and he feels overwhelming heat blaze through his body. Egon switches tactics. Instead of penetration, both on their knees, Egon rolls onto his back and pushes his head between Janine's thighs, working his face into position and then pulling her down to straddle his mouth. He needs to make her climax first because he isn't going to last long.

"Oh! Egon-" Janine says and proceeds to ride his tongue until she shatters, gushing over his chin.

He rolls her over onto her back and crawls up her body until they are belly to belly and face to face. Only now does he push inside of her, while she is still trembling with aftershocks. She feels so wet, surrounds him in her tight, yielding warmth, and as he thought, it only takes a few strokes before Egon is losing himself inside of her. Then he collapses atop her, breathing hard.

Janine smiles against his sweaty neck. Hugs him. The speed and confidence with which she just got licked, flipped and sticked was remarkable. Egon is heavy but she likes the weight of him. She feels him softening and sliding out. Janine rubs a hand lazily over his back. He nuzzles his big wonderful nose into the side of her temple.

"That was so good," Janine whispers into his ear.

He "hmmms" with satisfaction. She makes an answering happy sigh. He slides halfway off, the mattress taking most of his weight off her chest so she can breathe more deeply.

"Excellent," Egon says, when he can. He worked the night shift last night, and is feeling his exhaustion creep in. With Egon on the job, Ray had spent the last night here, and Janine is feeling quite sleepy now, too. The two of them nap in the softening light while the sun sets over Manhattan.

They accidentally sleep through their dinner reservation, and so when they wake, supper ends up being microwave popcorn and a pint of ice cream, eaten while naked in Janine's bed. A movie playing on the little TV/VCR combo that sits at the foot. Egon doesn't care for television, instead reads over a parapsychology tome, a text written in dead languages and technical jargon. He lays studying beside Janine, who plays with his hair and laughs at the romantic comedy on the little box. To Egon, it is an almost perfect Saturday night.

At ten, Ray calls to tell them both goodnight. Janine answers and Egon smiles to see her face light up at the sound of Stantz's voice. He knows without asking who it must be, because of the sparkle in her eyes. His chest hurts, a lump of happiness sitting atop his heart. Janine and Ray chat a moment, making a plan for them all to have breakfast in the morning, then Egon is given the phone.

"Hello, Raymond," Egon sounds politely formal, as always, despite being naked and covered in popcorn crumbs, Janine's smooth bare leg slung over his dark furred, long leg. "How was the bust tonight?"

Ray's warm, rapid fire voice chatters about work for a moment and Egon misses him, suddenly. Wishes he could see his sweet face as he talks. Tries not to show it for fear of offending Janine.

"Goodnight, Ray, I love you," Egon says at the end. If they don't get another call, Winston and Ray will probably watch a movie and play cards until shift end at 2am. They're nearing Halloween and the haunting calls are coming in day and night, mostly night, it feels like. When Egon hangs up, Janine's blue eyes are watching him, candidly.

"Ya wanna go home, Egs?" she asks him gently, not resenting him, just aware of how much he loves both of them. She's picked up on his homesickness for Ray in that two minute phone call. He drops a kiss to her temple before he answers.

"No, we'll see him in the morning. Besides, he's working," Egon says, shaking it off, but Janine knows he is used to sleeping next to Ray and has done so for a decade. He rarely sleeps over unless Ray is on call. She gives him a hug.

"You sure you don't want to go sleep in your own bed? Ray will be off work in a couple hours. It's okay by me, Spengs, really," Janine's usually sassy smirk has a soft sweetness to it tonight. She is such a loving light in his life, Egon is temporarily overwhelmed but then he finds the words.

"I love you, Janine," Egon tells her. He is happy here, is cozy and satisfied. "It's okay to miss Stantz a little, once in a while. I'd like to stay with you, unless you're done with company?"

Egon knows that Janine likes to be alone, as well. He eyes the stack of books on her bedside and knows she'll have a date with Stephen King when he's gone. She's halfway through The Stand. Stantz is reading it too and they're racing to finish it.

"No, I'm good, please stay," Janine says, kissing him. "I love you, too, Egon."

But something doesn't let her rest. When Egon falls asleep, around midnight, Janine slips into the kitchen and calls the firehouse.
