Summary
Exhausted was too tame a term for how Shouta was feeling, that windy October morning- if it could even be called morning. The wee’est of hours, not even two in the morning.
He was on the night train, somewhere he usually avoided with great distaste, but again- he was exhausted. He couldn’t bear to walk home at this point, much less swing himself there. His arms and shoulders were killing, dead in the sockets . His back and glutes ached, his thighs and calf were screaming for relief. His eye was burning, the bags underneath the sockets heavy and purple.
The train was packed, annoyingly enough. No room for him to sit. He should just lift his damn pant leg and make someone stand for him- he has preferential seating privileges. He’s a fucking Amputee. A hero. He lost a leg- an EYE. He tried his best not to be bitter about it. He did what he had to, to save the country.
But, god, was he really evil for feeling like he was OWED something?
You bumped into him- nearly knocking him off his damned feet.
You would pay for that.

Summary
A world where heroes defended and protected the weak has fallen. In a single day, the world's population was left quirkless. In it's wake the world was reborn in darkness and lawlessness and the heroes that survived the aftermath disappeared leaving everyone to fend for themselves. A decade later a new power has risen, an underground syndicate that calls the shots and keeps the peace, but on their terms.
You (female reader) find yourself caught by the syndicate and charged of murder. About to be executed cruelly, an abrupt change of plans turns your world upside down. Gifted to the Boss who runs the show as a birthday gift, you find yourself part of his unique collection as his personal living doll.
This bizarre world makes you question everything you ever thought about the once great heroes when you discover they are now the one's making all the rules. Quirkless but still deadly, you become a part of their world and soon find that all things considered, it may not be such a bad deal after all. That is, as long as you remember the Boss does not take well to sharing his toys.
