Written because while I adored Badhaai Do, I really was not a fan of the scene where Shardul slaps Kabir. Physical abuse isn't okay no matter if the victim is male or has been cheating, especially when Shardul is a police officer, in a position of power and responsibility, and he is eight to ten years older than his boyfriend who is still a college student. So I rewrote the scene to not resort to violence while still keeping the tension, the confrontation, and the break-up.
