Summary

His career starts to fail from his time off, and the stress from the new change causes relationship issues between the two men. Bakugou finds a new way to cope with his feelings, now not having a career to look to. Meanwhile, the raid failing was just the start of one of Japan's biggest missions yet, and the man who injured Bakugou definitely isn't happy with his new injuries.

This fanfiction is a huge huge experiment born from a couple of my convictions: the first is that I have always thought Lord Voldemort was not so credible as a villain, his backstory was developed in depth, but he always felt like he had been built solely to justify why he had become an embodiment of the devil; he was so thoroughly evil that he ended up feeling unconvincing and flat as a character. The second is that the narrative device Rowling used to connect Harry and Voldemort always struck me as a little "weak" a random newborn takes down the most powerful dark wizard of all time...So I asked myself: wouldn't it work better if Voldemort were Harry Potter's true father? And consequently how could that have happened? What went on inside the young Tom Riddle to lead him to the decision to become the Dark Lord? Could there have been a human side to him? Were the characters described as good and pure really without even a hairline crack of ambiguity did they never commit a single real sin, even out of simple human frailty? And out of all these questions came a Tom–Lily story.
Brace yourself for a dynamic between the two that is not immediately, but inevitably,toxic…he is still Voldemort, after all. -

Consensual Fratt starts in forth chapter. Additional chapters are entirely Fratt sex-as-a-coping-mechanism smut. Time skips in between with smut-focus. I won’t be exploring a romantic relationship aspect. Starts leaning harder into BDSM around chapter 10.
