It was a typical boring day at the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin Paper Company.
Phones buzzed, conversations rang off the plain walls, and coffee's faint, bitter aroma mingled with the tang of printing ink that seemed permanently in the air.
Employees sat at their desks, tapping away on keyboards, making sales calls, or pretending to be productive while scrolling through their phones or watching funny YouTube videos.
In simple, plain terms, it was business as usual.
What people didn’t know, was that Jim Halpert wasn’t just a charming paper salesman with a knack for practical jokes, pranks and tricks.
He was entirely different by night—or sometimes by day, depending on the urgency of the situation.
To a very select few, he was Jack Ryan, a CIA analyst turned field operative and a man who had faced life-or-death situations that would make even Dwight’s wildest survivalist fantasies seem stupid.
After all, being a paper salesman was only half the job; and for Jack, it was just how he liked it.

A love letter of sorts to my favorite game. I discovered Sandrock when it first came out, at a time when things weren't great for me. I lost myself in the game, happily, and developed a love for several characters that I adore to this day.
This follows the story timeline through just after the war and then I wander and take my favorites with me. It's a humorous, smutty, sad and happy journey around my builder's love affairs with Pen, Fang, Logan, Avery, Arlo and her bestie, Grace. Characters I love. To me they are flawed, quirky but honest, resilient and able to change, to grow and accept. Thanks for reading!
