    This au is written entirely by me, but a BIG thanks to my partner for giving me so much motivation and ideas to keep this thing going for as long as it'll go. Anyway onto the info:

    Despite the very sad first part to this, this au is centered around things being relatively better than in canon.

    The main idea is that nobody dies, and of course that sets up a bunch of other things to happen and not happen, thus making things way better than before.

    Why did I set this in the 80s? 1 for an excuse to change their styles, and 2... I have no idea.

This week, it was Dani’s turn to choose the movie they watched, so she chose a romantic comedy called How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days. She kept on saying how it was one of the best movies made, and that they would love it. So when it was finally Friday, Cody had some high hopes.

     

    Then the movie started; it’s not like Cody disliked the movie, but it really wasn’t his cup of tea. It’s just the two main characters lied to each other (they kept their real reasons for getting together from each other) and then fell in love? It confused him. How could they fall in love with each other if they did that?
