This fic picks up right where Blood of Olympus left off, beginning with borrowed dialogue as a jumping-off point into Nico and Will's slow-burn-of-a love story through and after the infamous three-day stay.

“Nico!” Will’s hands were shaking again as he placed a hand on Nico’s shoulder, watching in horror as blood kept falling in constant splatters from the son of Hades’ mouth.
“No, no, no, no,” Will found himself repeating as a few drops of blood found their way from Nico’s mouth to the back of his hand.

When can he start growing? What did he have to do to be as strong as Nico?! What did he have to do to grow away from his struggles for the second time? To turn this regression into progression? To overcome this helplessness that he always hated?
