They were set to have a mission in a town nearby, what they weren't expecting was to get ambushed at said town by the Raiders.
They had had prior altercations with the raiders but Zanka had only met a few of the Raiders compared to the rest due to being forced to rest by Enjin for according to him overworking himself. He hadnt expected to have a run-in now, certainly not with a particular raider.

Zanka stood there with a shell shocked expression, his cheeks glowing with the beginnings of a blush.

Zanka and Jabber have been married for a while now having met a few years prior to Rudo joining the cleaners. It certainly wasn't a typical relationship with not the best start but they made it work. Thing was they both vanished for work from time to time and never told each other what they actually do for work deciding it wasn't important to their relationship.

If anything, Eishia just got even redder, if that was possible.
"Awww, no need to be so humble, dear Eishia. You healed the injured civilians, healed up the big hole in Zanka's stomach that Mymo inflicted on him, then went on to heal our injuries right after like it was nothing. You gotta toast yourself to that one."
At that, Eishia turned to her with a look of confusion.

Summary
A man with a mysterious Jinki had been causing serious trouble, turning people into children and selling their organs on the black market. The Hell gueards left the Mission to the Cleaners.
After long deliberation, Corvus eventually sent Zanka and Enjin. The two of them searched through No Man’s Land until they came across Jabber and a mysterious man hidden between piles of scrap. During their observation, they discovered that the Raiders were also after the Jinki and, apparently, had far more knowledge about it than they had.
Jabber, as careless as he was, allowed himself to be hit by the Jinki and was turned into a child only to immediately shock everyone by remaining just as dangerous, violent, and unpredictable as before. They fought and even in his child form, Jabber overwhelm his opponent.
Just as he was about to kill him, Enjin and Zanka stepped in and stopped him. After that, Jabber switched into a harmless, almost cute persona and tried to subtly extract information from them. However, Enjin realized what he was doing, and both of them understood how intelligent the boy truly was. When he tried again, Zanka immediately shut him down.

Orphan Jabber comes to the small town of Kamuatari, adopted by Bundus who needed help on the farm.
Jabber gets to go to the local school where he meets Zanka and soon desires to be his friend.
