For a brief moment, Optimus's ventilation systems hitched, his optics dimming slightly as he adjusted his hold.

    Grieving Cliffjumper's loss, Arcee struggles with her conflicting emotions when she and Optimus discover an injured, amnesiac Starscream. Optimus, meanwhile, finds himself drawn to the vulnerable scientist beneath the Decepticon facade, his gentle touches and protective instincts revealing deeper currents of connection. Meanwhile, Megatron is haunted by Starscream's absence—the emptiness in his spark chamber growing with each passing day. His processor fills with memories of heated arguments and dangerous loyalty, realizing too late the complex bond that had formed between them over millions of years of warfare.
