As she hadn’t been wrapped up in his bedsheets just days ago."- The AU where The Golden trio are forced to flee the Otherworld in order to protect their (unconventional) family. Aster Dell did not end with Rosalind being bound and instead she let the threat of committing a war crime linger over the trio, until she needed to use that leverage for something else. Hiding in the first world is a difficult adjustment, for everyone.

And truthfully, Ben thought it was an empty threat. Just like so many other unkept promises from their restless youth. He honestly thought it was a passing caveat on the wind murmured (although fiercely) into the winds as they lay on the grass. Bottles clinked together in wordless agreement before they left themselves sag down, exhausted and delirious from the adrenaline spiking through their nervous systems only hours before.
