Summary
Zack told him to live. To continue.
Cloud tries, he really does. But nothing feels important anymore without Zack in it. He drifts through his days without meaning, unable to sleep, unable to let go.
Then he almost gets robbed in the middle of the night, and he’s saved by a friend—Cloud hasn’t seen Sephiroth since Zack’s funeral, and they bond over their mutual loss and grief.
But when Cloud realizes he’s catching feelings for Sephiroth, it throws his grief-stricken mind into chaos. Is he allowed to move on? Is he allowed to love someone else now that Zack is no longer there?

Cloud Strife is your regular, run of the mill farmer, he's got acres of land, animals to take care of, plants to water, and chores to complete before the sun sets.
But there's something about this mundane life that truly, undeniably so, doesn't seem right.
