Doey shrieked. Steam rose where frost bit into his dough, parts of him stiffened and cracked, and his monstrous form convulsed, sobbing and shaking himself free of the freeze.
Still pinned to the wall, you thought back to your time with him in the caves, and his voice, smaller than you'd ever heard it after being hit by the gusts back then.
"HURTS HURTS HURTS HURTS HURTS HURTS
He's made it impossible for me to get around here. Traps like this are EVERYWHERE! It's the cold that hurts... The big mean doctor knows that...It's okay. You're okay. It's all okay..."
The toy's one weakness. But even then, after every freeze, every burst of nitrogen, he broke free, over and over.
The dough of his appendages, farthest from the sprays, remained unfrozen, and dough slid over mouth again, but you forced one deep breath before it sealed.
Instead of continuing to claw uselessly at him, you reached with your free hand toward the controls of your GrabPack, eyeing the controls of the tunnel boring machine just overhead.
You were angled correctly. You could do this. You just had to...
You hesitated.

James Potter, eldest son of Harry and Ginny, has always been a trouble maker. Add Reggie Black to the mix, and bad things are sure to happen. What happens when the next generation of kids accidentally travel back in time, bringing Remus Lupin with them.
(I wrote this story a few years ago and it isn’t currently finished. I will not be finishing it, but I did recently start a new time travel story which is much better than this one. If you want some good laughs this fic might be for you.)
