Despite being ostracized and facing prejudice because of his unusual ability, since quirks are so ingrained into a person's sense of self that copying a quirk is seen with scorn, Izuku perseveres, demonstrating his resilience and determination. Through dedication and mastery of his quirk and its inner workings, he eventually secures a spot in U.A.'s hero course, determined to become a true hero on his own terms. But not even in his dreams did he think he would have to face what he would face in the future to become a hero.
