Summary
When Neil finds himself an abandoned cabin in the woods to hide out in, it's almost too good to be true. Turns out that cabin isn't abandoned, inhabited by a cat and a man who are coincidentally both missing a leg. In exchange for helping this stranger fix up the cabin, Neil finds himself with a place to sleep at night, food to eat, and potentially protection from his serial killer father.

Summary
Pale strands of gold fell in Andrew’s face, like beams of sunlight. A slight red flush sat high on his cheeks, and his dark t-shirt stuck to the sweaty areas of his skin. He should have looked messy, but if anything it only highlighted his control. The impassive stare, the way his amber eyes pinned Neil to the bed, the fact that he was fully clothed and Neil… wasn’t.

Summary

He’s been having dreams.
Strange dreams of fire and heat, death and pain. Dreams that he can’t remember but leave him damp with sweat and out of breath with the smell of gasoline and burning rubber thick in his nose.

Neil and Renata are still settling into the Foxhole Court, determined to remain hidden from those that would come for them by keeping under the radar... at least that's what Neil thought the plan was. Yet, as time goes on, he and his daemon, who for so long seemed perfectly in sync with each other, seem to agree less and less on what that means. Renata seems determined to reveal just how not-normal they are compared to the rest of humanity.
As Neil struggles to keep his volatile (dangerous) daemon in check, Andrew and Sezia seems closer and closer to realizing exactly who they let into Pametto.
