Summary
Overnight, Julian becomes the Marquess of Ashbourne. His father dies, and London inherits him. He arrives with the wrong manners and the wrong history — half English by blood, half Ottoman-Turkish — and the Ton immediately decides what he is: exotic, dangerous, an opportunity.
