Pete instantly slammed a hand over his mouth to stifle his sniggering and Gabe slapped his thigh lightly, trying to look at the teacher apologetically.
“Sorry sir, we were just catching up after the holidays.”
The teacher nodded, still stern, and turned to walk away before pausing.
“Oh, and put that book away. Anything labelled ‘shag book’ cannot be educational.”
