“My name is kind of weird, too, you know.” The other girl sat down in the grass beside her. It was reflex that Deki turned away slightly to shield her ink painting, but the other girl didn’t seem to notice.
“It’s supposed to be Peśa, like from the sacred language, but everyone just calls me Pesha because the adults say it flows more with the dialect.”
“Oh.” Deki didn’t know how to answer that. She always corrected the adults when they said ‘Diki.’“So, I just thought I’d tell you, if you want to be friends.”
It was there so briefly. Deki didn’t know what the feeling was. Warm and so unfamiliar, and she took a good second to look at the other girl as she picked at the grass. Warm, unfamiliar and— she’d imagine this was what others felt when they came home to someone and ate dinner together. Something like home. But just as quickly, she shut it away behind something high and unbreakable. Because Deki knew.

"Don't play dumb, my Lady." She begins darkly, slowly climbing the steps up to the perch of Aphrodite's altar. "You knew I was coming. You know why I'm here. I don't know what sort of magik or curse you've inflicted upon me, but every single damn time I end up with you."
Aphrodite watches Megaera's movements through hooded, rapt eyes. The gleam in them seems to grow the closer she gets, surmounting into something unbearable when she stops in front of her, mere breaths away.
With Aphrodite leaning back on the altar, Megaera stands taller, the goddess having to tilt her head up to look Megaera in the eye. This close, she can tell that the oils anointed upon her hair and skin are perfumed, faint notes of something ambrosial and pine-fresh as myrtle teasing Megaera's senses.
There is something sly in the way Aphrodite considers her. Something daring. That burning within her thrashes viciously in response.
"And you've done it again." Megaera snarls lowly. "Fix it."
OR: Megaera, ever-driven to find her way to Aphrodite, demands answers this time around.
Aphrodite is always willing to oblige, of course, though perhaps Megaera isn't so ready to hear what she has to say.

Tanjiro, accompanied by his entire family of demons, gets into some sticky situations-- from teleporting houses with crazed boars inside to giant forests covered in spider webs (and some not-so-nice spiders).
But if it's all for his family, Tanjiro won't let anyone, or anything stop him. Not even a short woman with a poisonous sword.
