Seven of the men that fought in the Trial yesterday morning are unknowingly chosen as champions of the Seven, to begin the fragmented process of understanding just what it means to be Seven Who Are One.

Or: What if the Seven saved Baelor, and then put him, Maekar, Daeron, Dunk, Lyonel, Raymun and Robyn Rhysling in a group that can mind meld/body share with one another? All for the purpose of eventually saving Westeros, of course.

“Ah!” exclaims the one with grey hair and a fresh face, mole decorating the corner of his eye. He’s pointing directly at Aran. “Inarizaki!”
The five other boys that accompany the rudely pointing guy all turn their heads at once to stare into the elevator where Aran, his friends, and his best friend’s grandmother are all standing, dumbfounded.
The elevator doors begin to close.
The guy Aran’s pretty sure is Karasuno’s captain lunges for the hallway button at the same time that Shinsuke’s hand darts out to press the open button from their side. The doors abruptly stop in place with a worrying clank, and then they very slowly start to slide open again. The tall guy with the bedhead looks like he’s holding back more laughter, though his face turns constipated when the shortest one in their group punches him in the side and hisses at him to shut up.
Yumie-baachan chuckles softly in the awkward pause, but nobody moves until Shinsuke asks, “Y’all gonna come in?”

Each word cut off the previous one in harsh succession. “They are unworthy to be yours if they do not care for you, shelter you from storms, use their body to block the sun for you.”

Diomedes stares down. "But?"
"No 'but'. Just observation. Is there a 'but' you would like to hear?" Nestor leans back. "I have known Odysseus since he was younger than Telemachus. Watched him grow from a clever boy into a dangerous man. Eventually, a crippling quality."
"That is not my problem."
"No," Nestor agrees. "It is not. But it will become your problem."
Diomedes clenches his jaw so hard something in his blessed divine architecture almost boils over the edge. "Nestor, I don't owe him, after everything, the crap he pulled five days ago..."
"You owe him nothing," Nestor interrupts gently. Then he stands, in height that somehow allows him to look directly into Diomedes' face. "But ask yourself: what kind of god are you becoming? Because a god you are. No matter how you lie to yourself. One who helps, or one who watches from a distance while mortals destroy themselves?"
